Our Work
While most news about the Ohio Equal Rights focuses on the progress and status of the two amendments we're working to pass in Ohio, we recognize that passing any constitutional amendment requires a coalition of people and organizations. Politics does not happen in a vacuum, and we're proud to work with organizations across Ohio and beyond, representing communities from a multitude of backgrounds and perspectives, and encompassing people from diverse walks of life. We view pluralism as a strength that enables us to be more resilient and better address the myriad challenges that arise in any aspect of life, particularly in politics.
Below, you'll find some examples of what we have done with some of our partners in the past. You can learn more about our Executive Committee on our Substack, and visit our Endorsement page to see the organizations that have officially endorsed us. We periodically reach out to other organizations and are more than open to discussing ideas with groups that approach us on how to build a stronger Ohio together.

Educational Panels
Ohio Equal Rights has partnered with various organizations to provide expert educational content to Ohioans. You can find recordings of those public panels on our Get the Facts page.
Community Support
Ohio is truly the Heart of It All, and we recognize that community is a vital component of why our state has become as strong as it is. In recognition of this fact, we have partnered with organizations to help build community whenever possible, particularly in the aftermath of significant news events. Examples include hosting Community Care events, participating in festivals across the state, and building our Seasonal Connection toolkit as we head into winter. Some other examples include:

Resources and Research
Ohio has a strong history of education, with robust schools that span from elementary to graduate and professional levels. Many of our coalition members and leaders are products of these efforts, and we strive to pay it forward by lending a hand to make educational materials accessible to the community. We've been proud to be part of the Honesty for Ohio Education coalition in building out the K-12 Diversity Ban Toolkit to help protect the legacy of education.
And we'll have a healthcare disparities research paper out soon!
